I have a such a love for Indian cuisine. I have spent some time and done some research. The Flame is on fire!!! I have not had Indian food this good in Florida yet!!p All the staples you have known to love at an Indian food experience are on point!! Butter Chicken is an absolute banger!! Naan bread is fresh and cooked to order. The service you will receive is very knowledgeable of the food. They are very friendly and helpful with all my questions and requests. Do let this place fool you. Yes it is in a gas station. However you will never know unless you use the bathrooms that are shared with the restaurant. It is very warm and inviting inside. Booths and tables are available. Go check this place out!! Absolutely recommend

excellent food and service. don't miss the Kadambari with shrimp. Different onion kulcha than I've had, and very good. Mango lassi with no ice, the way they should be served. Chef will go off menu and make Chicken Rogan Josh. House made papadom, I suspect, are delicious too. Going back soon. The only shortcoming is the location in that it's looks kind of gas station dinery. But it kicks butt. They need their website back on-line

My hubby & I ate here for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed everything. From the Lamb Curry to the chicken lolly pop appetizer to his chicken curry meal. We didn't catch the precise names but it was all great, including the Naan bread. If you like Indian food, we'd recommend eating here!!

Great service easy to find. Quick service. I don't have time to dig in. Traveling. However I wanted to leave a review about the service.

As a South Indian with high standards for authentic flavors, Flame Indian Cuisine blew me away again! The food is absolutely fire, and I'm willing to make the drive from Gainesville anytime. A special shoutout to Siddesh, who was an amazing host. He recommended some incredible dishes that we wouldn't have tried otherwise, and we're so glad he pushed us out of our comfort zone. His suggestions were spot on and will have me thinking about Flame every time I pass Ocala. For anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit!

Okay, so if you love Indian food and you are anywhere near Ocala, Florida, RUN -- don't walk, to The Flame Indian Kitchen!! My two friends and I are serious lovers of Indian food and we have eaten A LOT of it, and this was one of the very best places we have ever dined. First of all, don't let the exterior fool you. This place is connected to a gas station but you walk in and it's like a much nicer dining establishment, with linens and flatware and fancy glasses and all the things... and the service is out of this world. I got to the place 30 minutes before my friends and asked if I could come in early and be seated and since there were plenty of tables they did not mind at all. (I did also notice that this place was also doing a tremendous amount of takeout.) As I waited for my friends they brought me my drink and a complimentary appetizer that you see here with the three dipping sauces. My favorite was the green one which I was told was mint, and it had a delightful taste. My friends and I had the samosas for an appetizer. We have eaten these literally all over the world, and these were the best any of us had ever tasted. I could have had them as a meal they were so good. All three of us ordered butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. It was out of this world. We will go here again when we are in the area.

This is the best Indian restaurant we've ever been to!! Fresh ingredients and great service! I had a dish that I haven't seen on another menu: methi malai, which is green peas and cashews cooked in fresh fenugreek leaves with a rich creamy cashew, onion, and tomato gravy. Absolutely delicious. Will be back again soon!

So glad to find another delicious Indian food place in Ocala! Definitely a hidden gem connected to the bp gas station. Visited on Friday night, seated right away. The food was spot on, the chili garlic naan is definitely spicy so for those that can't take spice definitely do just plain or garlic naan. Curry is super flavorful. The place was decorated with flames per their store name, and clean, easy parking shared with the gas station. Would definitely recommend.
